Ridiculously Cute: Chewbacca Mouse
Since it’s Friday, and I found something that’s quite beyond ridiculously cute, I had to share it. Presenting Chewbacca Mouse from The House of Mouse on Etsy (via the Park Bench, my favorite nerdy women blog).
I always did love Chewbacca.
Whimsically Cute Friday
Wee Folk Outfitters on Dawanda has completely satisfied my penchant for fairies, little people, wee folk, fey creatures, gnomes, sprites, naiads, dryads and leprechauns today. These are beautiful, handmade, whimsical tiny doors for placement around your house, store, etc. to make sure all your fairies know they’re welcome to inhabit your home (hehe). They feature perfect handmade hinges and well-chosen knobs as well as different designs and paint/stain themes.
Gorgeous, eh!? Each is sold separately or you can buy nine if you’d like. The one on the top left can be purchased with two additional windows, too. I think one would look quite nice on a bookshelf, leading into my books :) After all, books are kind of another world, right?
Ridiculously Cute: return of Friday (the 13th!)
I was looking for cat toys. Not that Callie and Caper need more, but my house already looks like a war zone, and they do love them.
I found this instead. It was Friday, and I thought, hey, remember when I used to look for stuff that was cute at the end of the week? It just cheers me up. Plus, I continue to be impressed with peoples’ abilities to put the cutest expressions on their stuffed toys’ faces.
Barnaby the Explorer here is no exception. He’s an art toy, a felted cat made of Australian merino wool, 11 cm tall. Handcrafted by Etsy seller Fing.
Enjoy! Hope he brought a smile to your face
