Well, it waited until day 23 of NaBloPoMo, but I’ve had one of those truly ultra-long days where tons of stuff HAD to get done. You do know we’re getting into prime fundraising season, and I am a fundraiser, and of course in this crappy economy it’s an extra fun job! So anyway this blog post is a bit of a phone-it-in. At least I’m admitting it, right? I’m also admitting I really need sleep, before I start mumbling at you and drooling. Maybe I’m already doing that. I’m not sure I’d know.

I am, however, excited to mention that I am actually planning on taking up the old crochet hook and sewing machine again this weekend after this lovely month of moving in, dog adopting, and trying to cook in my kitchen. It’s been a busy month. Did I mention my 7th wedding anniversary is Sunday, too?

Jeff wants a blue beanie for that Blue Beanie Day thing, so I’ll be crocheting that for him. I’m also going to finish the project below, and rediscover why sitting in front of my sewing machine is so nice. Like this.
