Its understandable that you would be weepy and part of your grief process being delayed a few weeks probably didn’t help. Do make sure that you include something positive in your every day routine though.

You are definitely not alone in your love for your furbeasts. I love mine, and I rather love yours, too.

I would have bawled, too. What a sweet and wonderful tribute to Caper, though … what a beautiful keepsake.

Strangely, I’ve never had mayhaw jelly, either! And you know my background and how odd that is! I must try some sometime … I don’t think I’d find any here!

Happy birthday to Grandma…and thanks for telling me what a mayhaw is. My people were from East Texas, and I can’t believe my Mamaw never made mayhaw jelly. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of it!
I’m sorry I made you so sniffly. I’m also sorry about your cat. Somehow in the turmoil of SAS, I missed that entry. Trust me, you’ll still weep over Caper years after the fact. Thinking about him, makes me remember my “Harley.” His memorial is outside my window as I write. It’s been four years (and I have five others) but I still weep for him now and then. These days, I can smile as I weep. Loving cats can be a hard thing sometimes.
