Eh, all pets like to lie on the cold floor when they get overheated. Audrey stretches out big. Caper refuses to touch the cold floor. Pets! How'd they get to be so picky?!

Actually, at least one of my cats seems to like laying on a cold, tile floor sometimes -- maybe just when he wants to cool off. :) But I love the idea of the Lily Pads ... I too wish I could do more to help shelter animals ... it's another great project idea.

I will have to share this with my Mom who used to crochet. I think she needs the impetus to start back up again. She shared her love of animals with me and like me always wishes she could do more to help those she can't adopt herself. Plus, she has a beautiful cat named Lily who is a very spoiled rescue.
