On the road again…
Since I live in Austin, you might expect me to say a word about Stitch Austin, but in fact I’m not there. There’s a lot of traveling going on in this part of the world and currently I’m ensconced once again in Houston. My kitten was a bit nonplussed by the trip – she wasn’t sure what to do with being put in a bag and shlepped in to the car. She’s being pretty loving (she’s trying to help me write this post, in fact) as a result of her discomfiture, and I’m shamelessly enjoying her cuddling while it lasts. Once we’re home, it’s back to the misbehavior, I’m sure.
I’ll be doing some Christmas crocheting this weekend, I’m sure, but meanwhile I’m enjoying being able to work out some of what my new Japanese pattern book says thanks to the lovely translations and general Japanese language help from My Little Mochi and the site she passed on, Makewrite.
Meanwhile, I also found Indiesave.com – which tracks down deals and promotions and the like from independent sellers. Nice!
