People get snobby about the dumbest things. Knitting is better than crocheting, please! I think they're both really neat, and why spend time doing something you don't love just to be cool? You'd never do that, and neither would I. I like knitting, partly because I found crocheting frustrating when I was a kid, but that's me. I might take up crocheting too, who knows?
